How we rank gutter companies
Every "Best Gutter Companies" list on this site is built the same way: we pull public Google review data for gutter-relevant contractors serving that town, score them on five factors, and exclude spammy or unverifiable listings. Rankings are editorial and are not for sale.
The five factors

| 2. Review volume & recency | How many reviews, and whether recent customers are still reviewing — a 4.9 with steady recent reviews beats a stale 5.0. |
| 3. Gutter focus | Dedicated gutter specialists are labeled and favored for gutter-specific work over generalist roofers who do gutters on the side. |
| 4. Services offered | Installation, cleaning, guards, repair — broader gutter capability ranks higher. |
| 5. Local coverage | Whether the company actually serves the town in question. |
What we exclude
We remove listings that show spam signals: business names stuffed with keywords or town names, look-alike characters, profiles with no verifiable web presence, and duplicate listings. If a company can't be verified, it doesn't get ranked.
How we make money
Our quote-matching service is free for homeowners; contractors may pay us for matched leads. Paying us does not move a company up a ranking, and not paying does not remove one. Sponsored placements, if we ever run them, are clearly labeled. Full details in our Terms.
Data freshness
Each ranking page notes when its data was pulled. Ratings change constantly — always verify current reviews before hiring.
